A Letter from Michael

Please help me help others even more!

In the 20 plus years I’ve been doing charity work, this past year witnessed the lowest contributions and the highest needs I’ve ever seen.

As we approach the end of this difficult year, I’m asking you to consider making a tax-deductable donation to my charity work so I can continue to help those in need.

If, like me, you feel extremely fortunate for all the gifts in your life, help me help those who, through no fault of their own, have much more difficult lives than we do.

As you know, the three areas my charity work focuses on are among the most vital:

Poverty. The Environment. The Arts.

(Poverty)
Through The Direct Effect Project we help people in need by providing food, assistance, teaching life skills classes, operate support groups, empower through education, and work for social justice.

(Environmentalism)
Through The Mother Earth Fund, (which is named after a character from my novel, DOUBLE EXPOSURE) we fight against the fragmentation of and over encroachment in the increasingly fragile ecosystem, provide environmental education, publish eco-empowering literature, take children on nature encounters, conduct environmental film festivals, and support good stewardship of the earth through alliances with other private and government agencies.

(The Arts)
Through The Gulf Coast Writers, Sacred Story Institute, The Tupelo Theater, and aMUSEment, we encourage, educate, and support the arts by providing workshops, classes, conferences, publications, presentations, exhibits, plays, Drama and Film Camp for kids.

Please help if you can. I’m so proud of all we’ve done over the years, but so want to do even more! With your help, we can help even more.

You can mail your tax-deductible donation to Michael Lister Charities, P.O. Box 1130, Wewahitchka, FL 32465 or go to www.Paypal.com, click on Send Money and enter this email address: MichaelLister@mchsi.com
